Mixed-use apartment development in Portland’s Pearl District

Project description: This six-story, 215,000 square foot building is wood frame construction with a two-story concrete foundation. The design includes 152 market-rate rental units, as well as ground-floor commercial spaces located next to the new streetcar line in Portland’s premier neighborhood directly north of the downtown core. The exterior of the building features metal siding with glass, concrete and wood accents. The total construction cost of the project is approximately $30 million.

 

Responsibilities: Participated in Design Development through the completion of the Construction Document Set, including a Type IIIB Design Review Process and jurisdictional coordination for permitting. Produced construction documents using AutoCAD, coordinated with MEP consultants, provided product and code research, modified 3D renderings using SketchUp and edited specifications throughout the project’s development.
