Project description: This project consists of the first phase of a LEED Certified Neighborhood Development. The four and three-story, 175,000 square foot pair of buildings are wood frame construction over a concrete ground floor. The design includes 179 market-rate rental units, as well as ground-floor commercial spaces located adjacent to the new DART line running through downtown Carrollton. The five-story parking garage also services Main Street parking needs. The exterior of the building features burnished block, brick, and stucco with glass accents. The project budget is $45 million.
Responsibilities: Participated in the project's Design Development, Construction Documentation, and Construction Administration phases, coordinating and responding to multiple RFIs and ASIs. Produced and edited documents using AutoCAD. Assisted in the design and adjustment of unit plans, elevations, details, and sections. Coordinated with Structural, Civil, Interior and MEP consultants, and coordinated set organization and printing.
